From 21st to 27th Oct. 2019, spanning 7 days combined with an international conference, Higashida Conference for Sustainability, we conducted a pilot training programme in the SDGs on the theme of ‘Clean City Clean Energy’, which offered special lectures by experts and relevant stakeholders in Kitakyushu who share their unique experiences of activities for the SDGs mainly targeting Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). We also visited selected facilities in Kitakyushu in order to learn practical lessons and have direct interactions with local partners.
